A bullet-point, abbreviated edition:

That’s all for this week. As usual, I may have a post or two during the weekend. I plan on “recapping” some games, but probably nowhere near all of ‘em. Also, I’ve got to start writing at SD Spotlight a bit more … this Sunday night/Monday morning, I’ll have my first “This week in Padres baseball” post up over there (hopefully, anyway).

Once you start posting frequently at SD Spotlight, do you still plant to maintain Friar Forecast?

Hey, Richard. Good to see you blogging again. My plan was only to post at SD Spotlight a few times a week (maybe 2-3, although I haven’t even done that yet). Rich does a great job with game recaps and such, and it’s tougher for me to “write” for a blog that isn’t mine … here I can ramble on about whatever, but I feel less inclined to do that when it’s not exactly my turn, so to speak.

Oh, the short answer: Yes, this will most likely remain my home base as long as I am still blogging …

Hey you’re not on the ESPN forums this season. Do you have a new name or have you stopped posting there?

Thanks for the holla Myron. As much as I love to take credit for someone else’s work, that post got messed up and was attributed to me by mistake. The Padre MVP post should be credited to Ray Lankford. Again, my mistake.

    Great links!

    Hey Rand, what’s up?

No, I haven’t posted much there. I comment a bit at ducksnorts and a few saber sites on occasion, but that’s about it. I still read the espn board a bit and I’ll probably comment there sometime again … if some thread catches my attention. Feel free to stop by here (and comment, of course) anytime you’d like, though.
