Friday links

Linked to a couple articles when I came back on Wednesday, so just a few today ….

More Maddux analysis from Eric Seidman — Haven’t really read it yet, but I enjoy Eric’s stuff.

By the Numbers – Speaking of Seidman, he has an article in one of the recently posted “By the Numbers.” There’s also more from Victor Wang on the value of prospects, which I’ve linked to in the past.

Anatomy of a curveball – Josh Kalk with more PITCHf/x work with cool graphs showing a curve and fastball from the side.

Linebrink trade revisited — Thought it was a heck of a trade for the Padres at the time — nothing has really changed my opinion yet …

The lost generation – Haven’t linked to many BP articles lately with Dan Fox’s departure. Nate Silver pieces are always link-worthy, though.

Thanks for the plug! The final article will go up tomorrow morning/afternoon and will look at his 1-1 selection/results as he contends it is the most important pitch in baseball.

Unfortunately, I’m going to be delaying it until next Saturday as I’m currently having database difficulty with my computer.
